What is my day like?
You meet us at the track we are scheduled to ride for the day, most track hours run from 9am to 2pm (we like to be loaded up and ready to go no later then 3:00 pm) this gives us time to prep bikes for the next rental day, where upon your arrival everything is set up and ready for you at the track. You can change into gear inside the privacy of MX Vacations trailer before you ride. We will hold a riders meeting to inform you on the track layout, we will discuss Safety on riding conditions, proper gear clothing and answer any questions you may have. We recommend you ride vet track before you ride Pro track. You are free to ride the different tracks at each location.
After riding 30 minutes is break time: We refuel and prep your bike, help yourself to refreshments throughout the day. After about 2pm bring in your bike, we’ll clean and prep bike for the next day.

What if I damage the bike?
We expect minor damages and scratches as part of a day’s riding. We keep major parts and tools on hand to repair major damage at the track, so that you can continue to enjoy your vacation. We also try to have an extra bike available. However, if you do severely damage or break a major part, we will need to charge you for the cost of replacing that part. (we only charge you our cost). You will sign a release outlining the charges you will incur, if specific parts are damaged.

What if I don’t have riders insurance?
Safety is a priority to MX Vacations, we discourage reckless riding and reserve the right to take the bike, and cancel the remainder of your vacation, if we feel you are riding carelessly and or recklessly. We know that even if all precautions are taken, riders still get injured. For minor injuries, we have a first aid kit on hand. Many tracks have medics on hand and if necessary, we will call for ambulance. We strongly recommend that you carry medical insurance. If you do not have a policy, we recommend getting a travel/accidental policy prior to your MX Vacations trip. We recommend you go online for health insurance at www.ridersurance.com. Any questions, please email Brandon Parrish at bp@ridersurance.com
MX Vacations pays for track entry fees, fuel, bike repairs, and refreshments through out the day. Note: (if you damage the bike we will have to charge you.)
As part of your vacation package, we have include fuel, oil, track fees, refreshments, full use of the enclosed trailer.

Which airports are nearby?
LAX is at least 1 hour; Burbank Airport half an hour; San Diego Airport 2 hours. If you book your flight to San Diego and stay in Temecula or San Diego area, we can meet you at the tracks, we also can recommend you with hotel and rental car.
-
What if I don’t have anyone to ride with?
There are always other riders on the track. MX Vacations owner Dave Fontes loves to ride, or pit crew members will also join you on the track.
-
What if I bring a guest? He or she doesn’t ride?
If you are taking part in one of our Special Event Packages, we will add a small fee to cover the cost of food at the track on the days they join us. Otherwise, they are free to come, watch, take photos, and video.
-
Can I pick up the bike and bring it back later?
No, we deliver the bikes to the tracks on the scheduled booking day.
-
What if it happens to rain?
There is little rain here in Southern California, we don’t cancel a day of riding due to a weather forecast. If it rains on the day you’re scheduled to ride, we’ll take you out as soon as the rain lightens up or change around the track schedule to accommodate you. If you decide to unload bikes and ride, we will charge you for the day. If a persistent storm moves in and the rain doesn’t let up all day or for several days, and we can’t get you riding while you’re here in Southern California, we’ll give you a rain check for another date. We DO NOT give refunds based on bad weather.
